Yesterday we were all shocked by the news of Yul Edochie having a son from Judy Austin who he called his second wife. The news was revealed by Mr Yul himself and the whole social media platforms went agog as people were sharing their different opinions on the issue.
Majority of the opinions were directly from women who expressed their disappointment on Yul for engaging with another woman despite being married for 17 years to a beautiful woman who suffered with him and have blessed him with 3 beautiful kids.
This morning, Yul posted his first wife’s pictures on his verified Facebook page with the inscription; NUMBER ONE “mayyuledochie Undisputed. This also has continued to generate a lot of comments and opinions from his fans who are still bashing him on his conduct.
Between yesterday and today, we have tried to check most of the comments and opinions from the public to analyze and see the possible impact of Yul’s decision in the mind of Nigerians especially women.
In our analysis, this case is gradually impacting negatively in their minds. Majority are of the opinion that men don’t worth it. Some have come out to say never you suffer with any man in his struggling times as he will absolutely change once he becomes rich. We saw comments saying Men are scum, all Men are polygamous etc. Some women have come out to advice younger single ladies to go after made men etc. You can imagine how bad they are all feeling.
We are advocating our women to be less sentimental and not allow this misconduct poison their minds to make wrong decisions that may not go down well for them. No man is supporting what Yul did as it is obvious he didn’t carry his first wife along till he paid the dowry of the second wife. He was morally wrong in his conduct and irresponsible act with Judy.
As a good Man, he has acknowledged his mistakes and as we can see, he is making amends. We should grant him that right and privacy to handle it till peace and harmony is restored in his beloved family. He had the option to abort the baby, plan and kill Judy, accept the baby and not marry Judy or even deny and abandon Judy and the baby but he didn’t do such. Rather he toed the line of integrity, accepted his mistakes and took responsibility of his act.
In as much as we are condemning Yul for what he did, let us not forget the person he did the act with, which is Judy Austin herself. She knew Yul is happily married and yet she released herself to him knowing fully well it is morally wrong. Following what has transpired, one may not be fully wrong in saying she had this all planned out in her mind. You never can tell, because the mind of Men/Women is full of evil that its only God that sees it all.
As he is making frantic efforts to get things right for himself and family, let us continue to pray for him. Yul has his parents to contend with especially his father. He needs his first wife to trust him again. His 3 kids are there to reassure them of his fatherly love, so we need to pray for him and wish him well if we truly love him. We understand a lot of people are so hurt and disappointed, but are we going to kill him? Or advice his first wife to leave the marriage? That will be so wicked of us.
Let us not allow this misconduct affect us negatively. Let us not allow sentiments engulf us to the extent we release and express toxic wishes to our dear celebrity. Let us learn and maintain discipline in all our activities in life especially our dealings with the opposite sex as a married man or woman. Let us think of the consequences our actions will impact in the lives of our family and loved ones if it comes out in the public space.
